Can’t believe it, but I finally found my last two quilting rulers, and the handle that attaches to the one. And yes, they were in the last large box left in the garage to unpack.
Now all I have to do is find somewhere to hang another closet’s worth of clothes, finish laundry, clear off the work surfaces in my studio, hang up a few decorations in the studio, and start working on my quilts again. So many ideas, so little time…
In other news, I also found a portable clothing rack, and thought I could use it to hang up all those previously mentioned clothes. It worked, for about an hour, then it broke, dumping all the clothes that were hanging on it onto the garage floor. Good thing I had swept the floor earlier.
Spousal Unit spent most of yesterday, and some of the day before, cleaning out the garage so he could organize “his” side. When all was said and done, he ended up with much more space on his side than I have on my side. The compromise was that I could store some of my “extra” supplies in tubs on his side. This is good, because those extra supplies were taking up valuable work space in my studio space. When it’s done, I PROMISE I will post photos of my compact work space. I really am getting close…
