Hey, all! Sorry I haven’t posted much lately. Between being super-busy with family stuff, and holidays, and work, and not having much creative energy recently, I’ve just not been able to do much of anything. However, that’s about to change.
I was having a pity party for myself, because I just couldn’t find my Muse anywhere. She was ignoring me for some reason, and I wasn’t able to find any creative juice to make anything. Finally, today, I heard a teeny tiny whisper: “Stonehenge.” Nothing else, just the name of the famous ancient site in southern England. So, I dug through my old photos from our Magical Mystery Tour of southern England a couple of weeks before moving back to the States, and found some decent photos of the site. I also decided that I didn’t care much for the sky in those photos, so I found a different sky and replaced the one in the photo. After a bunch of manipulation, here is what I came up with:
It’s not what I had originally envisioned, but I think it came out well. A friend described it as an “elf portal”. I like that.
So, there ya go. New art for today. Maybe there will be more in the near future… Now, where did that Muse of mine go off to…?
