Day 328: Part 2

The digitation continues… More fun with Apophysis:

Day 328: New Grand Julian
Day 328: New Grand Julian

I made this one by just playing around with a variety of settings in Apophysis (Apo). I thought it looks a bit like a brooch.

Oh, and look! I got my logo back!

Day 328: Grand Julian 3
Day 328: Grand Julian 3

I really like the delicate, lacey look of this one.

Just wanted to mention that this last one took about 3 hours and 15 minutes to render. But then, I made it lots bigger so I could use it as wallpaper on my new computer. I was hoping the new machine would render faster than that. But who knows how long it would have taken on my old Dell? I also discovered that, if the computer goes to sleep, the render is suspended until the computer wakes back up. So one of the earlier renders took more than 10 hours, since I had forgotten to change Leeloo’s power setup. Now that I have changed it, there shouldn’t be any more rendering problems, other than not enough time in the day to make new images.

And now I’m tired, so I guess I’ll go get ready for bed, even though it’s not quite 8:30 yet. At least all the laundry is done and put away!
