I have been thinking a lot lately about how much I want to get back to making art again. I’ve made lots of excuses of the past several months (ok, the past year), most of which revolved around my intention to get fit and healthier. Life just gets in the way of what we want to do sometimes, right? So, today, I sat down at my computer, fired up Apophysis 7, and made this:
This type of fractal is called a Grand Julian. It took me quite a while to get to this image; several hours, in fact. But once I saw it really begin to take shape, I just had to keep going.
Now, it’s past 10 p.m., and I just hope it snows enough tonight to close the office tomorrow, so I can spend more time making even more art.
It’s great to be back where I belong, doing what I should be doing!
