More Oldies But Goodies

So, I’m digging around, and I found these photos of projects past:

Minerva the Steampunk Doll
Minerva the Steampunk Doll

I made her for a friend, who found a book online with patterns and instructions for making a series of cute little Steampunk dolls. She said she wanted this one. I told her that if she bought the book for me, I’d make her the doll. I ended up spending more for the doll components than the book cost, but it was worth it! I think she turned out cute, don’t you? She has a little hat, and a monocle, and a tiny earpiece with antenna. And her hair style is so adorable! She was definitely fun to make, but something of a challenge, since she’s so small. The book is Steampunk Softies: Scientifically-Minded Dolls from a Past That Never Was.

And here’s something else I found:

Mala Set
Mala Set

This full and mini mala set were made from ebony, lapis and silver beads. The large one is made to be worn like a necklace, and the small one can be worn like a bracelet. These were also a special request.

I have more, but I’ll post them another time….  🙂
