Today’s art project is a labrys (symmetrical, double-headed axe) on a layered background.
The Labrys is often associated with Goddess worship, and is often worn as a symbol of the Goddess in neo-pagan religions.
This is not a photograph. It’s a combination of shapes and special effects applied in PhotoShop. As I was falling asleep last night, this symbol came to me, so I knew it was next up in my daily art projects. Hope you like it!

I’m not completely in love with this background, but it seemed to work for the image. No matter what I did to it, I didn’t like any of the alternative effects I achieved. So, this is it for this one.
