Today’s project used a photo from a trip we took to Alaska for the salmon run, back in 2009. I had a good idea of the sort of image I was looking for in my personal gallery, and was pretty sure that I would find something suitable from the Alaska trip. I had forgotten all about this image.
The red thing is some sort of seaweed. Of course, my kaleidoscope had to focus on that bit.
I had to call it “Rock Love” since that is one of my favorite Todd Rundgren songs. I especially love how these layers look so 3-dimensional. And so many strange little critters hidden in the pictures! This one was lots of fun to make. I hope you enjoy it!
