Some days, you just have to say “Screw it!” and move on.
So, taking a deep breath, and moving on…
Although the piece I’ve been trying to render for several days isn’t working out, here’s one that I thought worked out great:

I love how this one turned out! The “leaves” are beautiful! Maybe someday I’ll turn this into a full-blown painting, with sky, landscape, trunk and all. Until then, this will do.
