I finished cutting the triangles tonight. Next comes sewing them back together into a new pattern.
When I finished cutting the large triangles in half, here is what I ended up with:

After that, blocks will be assembled in another pattern. But I’m getting ahead of myself… While it is possible that I’ll get that far this weekend, I’m not promising anything at this point. But when I get there, I’ll show you what it looks like.
While working out the block layouts, I discovered an error in the instructions, which I will need to fix in my copy. Perhaps I should let the publisher know about the error, too.
Anyway, that’s about it for tonight. It’s been a long day, and I’m looking forward to a good night’s rest.
