I was trying to work out a pattern for a 10-segment circular quilting block, but I couldn’t find any templates for what I wanted. So, I made one. Then I decided to give it away so that anyone could use it. Because I know that everyone really wants to make a 10-segment circular pattern with triangles, but you’re all weeping in despair because you can’t find a decent free template.
So, here’s the main template. Cut ten for a full circle, five for a half circle. Once you get the triangles sewn together, just trim the corners of the block into a circle. Then do whatever you like with it.
This template is sized for an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper, with 0.25″ seam allowances. Feel free to print at a different size, or to print multiple copies. This is free to use, mainly because it’s so hard to copyright a geometric shape. 😉
Anyway, just consider this my Vernal Equinox gift to you! Happy piecing!
